Join our online support group
We do not offer therapy but if you’re seeking advice on post-psychedelic difficulties you can email us at contact@challengingpsychedelicexperiences.com and we can suggest resources. You can also join our monthly online peer support group for people experiencing post-psychedelic difficulties, which meets on the last Sunday of every month.
This is a free and confidential online peer support group, not a therapy group. It is not facilitated by medical or therapeutic professionals, it is volunteer-run by people who have been through post-psychedelic crises.
If you’re looking for immediate therapeutic support, you can find further resources and recommendations below.
The 90-minute format of the group includes:
- Introductions
- New participants sharing (optional)
- Breakout rooms of four people (30 mins)
- Open group discussion (30–45 mins)
Participants listen to each other's stories and offer support and solidarity - we don't try to 'fix' each other, and recognize that what works for some people might not work for others. People also have different frames for their healing, some more spiritual, others more secular.
Peer support groups are not for everyone and can be triggering for some people. Be aware that people are sometimes at different stages of their 'healing journey' - some had a difficult psychedelic experience quite recently, and others may have had a difficult experience many years before and are only talking about it years later, sometimes for the first time.
